Description
MAX Control bits are visually barely distinguishable from conventional double-jointed bits. Their special feature: from a certain angle – i.e. only with stronger rein action by the rider or with strong pull by the horse – the mouthpiece locks and briefly forms a bar. This effect sets in only gently, but enables precise communication. When the horse yields, this effect ceases immediately.
The double-jointed MAX Control D-ring bit is made from rust-free stainless steel. The fixed side pieces allow a direct transfer of the rein aid to the tongue and lower jaw. In addition they protect the sensitive corners of the mouth and frame the horse slightly laterally to counteract falling out over the shoulder. The model is suitable as a schooling and correction bit that, with sensitive hand action, can also be used for mouth-sensitive horses.
